Donations help the Shelter

Part of every membership goes to support the "...in the Company of Ferrets Inc."  shelter and the many ferrets in their care.

Donations of all types are always needed and appreciated. Check the Wanted pages for various things, or check with Laura (651-439-5209) or Nancy (651-458-8061) for what specific items like brands of food (always check!) or other things are currently most needed.

The Shelter became a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation on Feb 7, 2002.  As of that date, your donations are deductable on your tax forms.  If you wrote a check, your check is your receipt.  Items donated such as food and supplies are fully deductible.  You may also claim $10 from your Club membership, which is a donation to the shelter.  However any money spent on adoption fees or items at our events are *not* deductible. We have donation receipts available.  Call Liz at 736-441-8542 if you need one.

You can also help the shelter by GOING SHOPPING on the web! Join iGive at http://www.iGive.com for free and shop at major stores such as Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and hundreds of other places, and a percentage of every purchase will go towards the shelter.
